Romanian Coast Guard Boosts Maritime Surveillance with Trakka Systems’ Critical Vision Technologies

Arla, Sweden – August, 22th 2025 – Trakka Systems is proud to announce the successful delivery and operational deployment of its Total Mission Solution with the Romanian Coast Guard. Playing vital role in safeguarding NATO’s eastern flank, the Romanian Coast Guard is now patrolling the Black Sea with the TrakkaCam® TC-300M-E and TrakkaMaps® TDR-100, both supplied by Trakka Systems AB.

This milestone was made possible through our trusted local partner, BlueSpace Technology (BST), who secured the public tender in full compliance with applicable legislation and expertly managed the complete implementation process in Romania — including delivery, installation,making the system fully operational and providing comprehensive personnel training.

Installed aboard three Shaldag Mk IV patrol boats operated by the Romanian Border Police, these state-of-the-art systems provide their Romanian operators with powerful coastal and maritime surveillance mission packages. These vessels go to sea with advanced electro-optical and mapping capabilities that provide enhanced situational awareness in real time, day and night.
