Trakka is a fully certified and accredited supplier of finished products to all the major international helicopter OEMs – and one renowned for its innovation. We are dedicated to delivering game-changing, quality products to specification and on time. And we consistently achieve this objective!

The methodology behind our successful delivery is in our detailed processes that drive everything from new product development to final product delivery and support. Our highly evolved quality control protocols marry product conformity to customer requirements. We actively encourage all our people to “trakk” our processes and help perfect our functions, every step of the way. That’s why our manufacturing methods are lean, agile and always improving. Our coordinated, highly trained team of engineers, supply chain managers, operations personnel, quality control professionals, logisticians, in-house technicians, field installation experts training managers and repair technicians ensure that our quality and performance are always first class.

Scalable, Systemized and Certified

At Trakka Systems, we manufacture all of our products in a highly scalable, regulated environment. We base our operating procedures on the world-renowned Lean Six Sigma principles. “Lean Six Sigma” is a phrase that describes a collaborative team effort to gradually improve an organization’s performance by systematically removing its wasteful and unnecessary parts or practices. Our aim is to reduce lead-time and manufacturing cycle times by eliminating waste and increasing capacity, while lowering our cost base. We issue detailed work instructions and follow cellular flow lines for each main LRU (or “line replaceable unit”). The flow lines are transparent and provide a real-time visual cross-check to our ERP (“enterprise resource planning”) system to ensure on-time delivery. Our standard manufacturing platform can then be easily scaled up to increase production on a needs basis. Trakka Systems has achieved AS9100 and ISO9001 international accreditations for its Australian searchlight operation. AS9100 is a widely adopted standard for the aerospace industry and our system is audited and certified to the latest revision of AS9100D requirements. These important accreditations are now also being rolled out to Trakka Systems’ Swedish operation. Our certifications enable us to meet and maintain our customers’ standard requirements for each new order.

The Trakka Difference: Outstanding Service and Support

Trakka Systems provides extensive support and after-market services from our sophisticated manufacturing and support facilities in Australia, CAR30 and APMA (Australian Part Manufacturer Approval) approved. Our Swedish facilities are being readied for EASA approval for Part 21G (Manufacture) and Part 145 Maintenance. We also operate a facility in the USA in New Mexico, which is PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) and FAR 145 certified, and awaiting final “dual-release” approval. At Trakka, we don’t simply sell “plug and play”. Our user-friendly range of training courses and materials also comes with the option of in-house support during the installation process and initial operational time frame. Many of our clients find our counsel in these early stages to be educational, beneficial and reassuring. Our comprehensive warranties and industry-leading reliability minimize your overall life-cycle program costs. See Service & Support for details. We can also offer a range of enhanced support packages tailored to meet your specific mission availability requirements. These include options for 24/7 hotline/online support, onsite call-out visits, and swap-out loaner systems or LRU’s. Our staff even have a proven track record of having rendered in-theatre contractor logistic support. Our focus is on razor sharp diagnosis and fast, no-fuss turnaround. That’s the Trakka difference.
